K-2 Reading

This unit will teach students to read and write words that label objects they already know. This lesson will also include coloring, writing, and drawing. Students will receive pictures of objects they recognize and will use crayons to color the objects in their understood color. They will then label the objects, read the name of the object, and draw the object. Students will learn colors, reading short words, and writing short words. Hanging from the door, the kids will see the image, colored, and labeled of the objects from a learning guide they will receive. The hanging objects will be used to go over the answers in the end. The rubric on the back will help to see how well your students did as a group and what should be worked on.
