My name is Kristin Tira and my home high school is Blue Valley Southwest. I am currently in the Teacher Education program at Blue Valley Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) because I love working with kids and want to help students excel. In this program I observe, teach in classrooms, and work with teachers and speech pathologists. Outside of school I enjoy walking dogs at Great Plains Animal Shelter, lifeguarding, and teaching swim lessons. In the fall of 2020, I plan to attend Kansas State University to farther my education and become a speech pathologist.
